Dear Tom,
How is going in the Department of Environmental Studies at Cambridge ? Everyone says you have made a good choice. ‘ Environment ‘ certainly seems to be a major issue at the moment – it‘s what‘s being talked about everywhere and everyone is expected to have an opinion about it. Iguess though ‘ environment ‘ really is about most important issue of our time. I am involved in it too. My next term’s Project is on ‘ The Environment and the Struggle of the Environmentalists ‘. I know that you are doing your thesis on something along the same lines so I wonder if you would mind answering a few questions for me. I hope you dont mind. Any answers or comments that you can find time to send back to me will be really appreciated.
